I do agree with you in terms on it not needing a full blown multiplayer coop mode( I thought the way they implemented the pawn system was fantastic) and that was plenty. the only thing i would like to have brought in is a greater variety of monsters and creatures. i personally hate running into the same thing over and over again.
How about they stop being so stupid with old IPs. go crazy with the new games and stop changing the formula of the old games that made them acquire a large fan base in the first place. Everything is turning into a generic run n' gun action shooter today. we want the old variety back.

Every time i see or hear anything about this game I hate it more and more. I'm a big defender of the DMC reboot/remake or what ever you call it. I seriously can't wait for that game and think they have done a great job being different just enough but also at least trying to stick with it's roots in terms of game play. I have really been looking forward to this title for quite some time, but the more that I see of it, and I hate to say it,I really dislike the character art. Everything else about this game, the bright colors, the combat style and gameplay, etc... I love from what I've seen. Even the rest of the art style, but I can't get into the anime of the people and creatures.
Even though they are changing up the formula, as of yet, they haven't destroyed the franchise. I will still be buying this game. I won't be playing it co-op but hopefully will still enjoy the single player campaign. RE6 on the other hand is a different story. Quite literally actually. God that franchise has taken a turn for the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just don't fuck up the multi. I'm so excited for the spies vs mercs again. Don't change a thing except for new maps obviously. That was the most fun i've had with multiplayer since COD4.

I think that if Sony can really tighten up the tech behind this though, it could be a big seller. It reminds me a bit of the Poingo story books. Agreed. I know its early to tell but from what I've seen so far, another of my favorite series has been ruined. I had such high hopes for the 3rd. Visions of walking on a desolite, frozen planet in a deserted base where you are thought to be the only one there to see if maybe a survivor or two are still out there have been shattered. I am officially writing off the Resident Evil Franchise. It is finally Dead to me. I kept holding on that maybe they would turn it around but it just keeps getting worse and worse. This is the final nail in the coffin and they have lost a long time fan. It is now like every other run of the mill action shooters that is super saturating the video game market. It's funny how you said it took a long time to beat the drake cause I have a friend who faught his first Cyclops the other day and I don't know why, but he said it took two day and night cycles in the game to bring it down. Thats a pretty damn long time!! I was laughing my ass off.

This is the first game in a very long time (and I'm talking a few years) that I think about constantly and can't wait to pop in again when I'm not playing. Your making a big mistake waiting on this one!! The game is incredible and even though it doesn't have traditional multiplayer, it does have a sense of multi with the pawns that you use in your party. Plus, if your looking at it in terms of length, your atleast looking at 50+ hours. Simply put, it's a fantastic game...
